New favorite book, wow! I can't even begin to explain how good this book is. The characters are amazing, the plot is filled with twists, whenever you think you might know what's going on YOU DON'T, the emotions and themes present in this book are so raw, the world-building is absolutely magical. I thought having technology and magic be present in the same world would be tacky, but far from it. Will add more/clarify as soon as I cam think coherently about this book.
Full disclosure: I spent the last 200 pages yelling, crying, and taking deep breaths.
