A Blue Ribbon Romance by C.M. Nascosta

5.0

To the person who reviewed this saying it was “cute but not needed”, that is some bull shit. Pun very much intended

Getting Rourke’s POV is the icing on the cake of his and Violet’s love affair.

It is absolutely charming from beginning to end. Filled with wit and humor, banter and tension.

Nascosta lays out all of Rourke’s vulnerabilities for us—his inner monologue warring with what is appropriate vs what’s not, his hesitancy around her interest (‘is she interested or simply being friendly’), his intention to tread carefully with regards to their life experience—are all so utterly endearing. We don’t get to see that in MGMF and I’m so thrilled Nascosta gifted us his POV. She said this was a gift to her readers who begged for more Rourke and Violet. Indeed. I don’t think I stopped smiling from the moment they first meet in the milking room to the ending.

I do recommend reading Morning Glory Milking Farm before reading Blue Ribbon. The entirety of their romance is fully realized in MGMF and you’ll appreciate how Nascosta showcases Rourke’s insecurities and desires in BR by reading MGMF first.
It is impossible to fully cherish learning that he fantasizes about her, about building a life with her or that he calls Violet ‘kitten’ in his mind without the contrast of his seemingly confident, soft dom swagger in MGMF.
