The Librarianist by Patrick deWitt

3.0

Slow and verbose, yet I couldn’t stop reading. I liked the seniors home parts that bookend the novel, and though I understand the necessity of part 2, part 3 seemed quite removed and almost unnecessary, and I really just wanted to read about the seniors home. Also, librarians shouldn’t read novels about characters who are librarians as the stereotype is always disappointing.
