Some books are so easy to write a review for because you’re on such a high after reading them! Elle Kennedy is one of my favourite authors, and my QUEEN of hockey romance👑 This was the most delicious hate to love with all the banter we’ve come to expect from her. The spice was HOT, and that counter scene🥵 is going to live rent free in my head. If you know you know👀 and if you don’t you should run to read this book! There’s also a suspense element to this story that worked really well**check trigger warnings**
The cameos from past characters were really fun. Much like The Graham Effect, I felt this book stood completely on its own without having to lean on returning characters.

Diana and Shane’s relationship development from enemies to friends with benefits to gradually becoming more was so satisfying to read. Their little reality tv hangouts were too cute and I LOVED the dancing!💃🏻 I can’t say if they’re my favourite Elle Kennedy couple because I have a few favourites, but they’re definitely up there.

I laughed, I cried, I had a great time, and I didn’t expect any less from Elle Kennedy🩵 I received an advanced copy from Hambright PR (Thank you!!) and I’ve already purchased the Indigo edition paperback! Can’t wait for Beckett and Will’s stories in the future😁
