I think my favorite thing about this, aside from Scout and MaxScout was the family dynamics between Eric and his brother and father as well as the little scenes between Eric and Rosie towards the end. Not to say I didn't enjoy the romance because I did, Eric and Alex were cute... but that's it. I didn't really feel deeply about them. Individually or otherwise!

I also am not a fan of the fact that this ended without giving closure to one of the main plots in this story... although I'm gonna assume this will be resolved in future book(s?); which I'm kinda looking forward to if one of them ends up being about Scout and Max!

To be honest this was an enjoyable read to me... albeit, not quite memorable.
