Gideon the ninth had a slow start, I honestly wasn’t invested until page 100. However, once the plot picked up, and I started to learn everyone’s names I was hooked. I liked how the characters queerness in the book was the least interesting thing about each character. Of course, I would have loved a more detail romance, but I am happy with what we got! Well done, I will definitely pick up the other books in the series in the near future. I minused .25 stars for the slow start & for the cringe curse words usage, even if though it was totally on brand for Gideon Nav.
