Half Bad - Το σκοτάδι μέσα μου by Sally Green

2.0

This book it is written in a very unique way. It is written in first person but it doesnt make you feel like you are the character but like you are his companion or something like that.
It was good. It was ok. I would reread it. I would recomend it. But i didnt love it. I didnt thought it was great.
The one thing that irritated me the most is that you only see the protagonist. Every other character was only appeared for some pages and then disappear.
SpoilerHis grandma, Arran and Deborah appear in the start but you dont feel connected with them. Then you have Annalise his supposed love interest but i didnt really feel the love, i didnt feel the romance. We have Helen that helps our hero but doesnt stay a lot. We have Gabriel and Rose. Rose dies. Gabriel disappears. We meet them at the end of the book. You cant feel the connection of friendship even though the writter does a lot of effort to build a friendship. Ofcource Gabriel is my cinnamon bun and we must protect him with all cost. He was the only character i could feel something for. He and Nathan has a bigger love story than Nathan and Annalise. And for sure i want them to be together more than i want Annalise and Nathan.
. I couldnt feel connection with any of the character. I couldnt feel connection with the hero. It was like everything was so distant. Ofcource i didnt want to be Nathan at the first place, he has some serious daddy issues.

Overall it was a good book but not the best book. I loved the writting and it had some good descriptions. It was a little bit fast as timeline and it made me feel like i was running to catch up with the thing that were happening. It makes you though want to read the next one and see what happens. Personally i want to see what happens to Gabriel and not to Nathan. I dont care about Nathan AND HE IS THE PROTAGONIST.

You must read it to make an opinion because i sometimes overreacts. I recommend it!!
