Minor Feelings: An Asian American Reckoning by Cathy Park Hong

4.0

A mix of history and memoir, really enlightening and detailed. Her descriptions of being a child of immigrants and the microaggressions of everyday life are hard truths I don't currently have the capacity/ tools to fully unpack. I find prose more accessible but this book makes me want to dive deeper into her poetry/ poetry in general.
