maybe being a philosophy major slightly dulled the intensity of these ideas for me, but nonetheless the writing was smart and well done and the ideas were inspiring. The actual story was dry (i guess it’s not really about the story anyway), but it definitely got me thinking. A bit pretentious, but what “philosophical” piece isn’t.
