The Blood of Olympus is the fifth book in the Heroes of Olympus series and I am so sad it’s over. I listened to the audiobook for this and I did really enjoy it. I have loved listening to these books as I’ve driven back and forth between home and Uni and, honestly, I don’t know what I’m going to do now that it’s over.
This was a good book and certainly not the worst in the series, but it also was not the best. It was enjoyable and I loved seeing what these heroes did to defeat the enemy but overall it was a little underwhelming. I would have loved to have seen more from Nico and Reyna in the past, and I wanted to see more from Percy and Annabeth in this book. I think the ending just felt a little too rushed, but maybe that was just my unwillingness to let it end.
