Batman, Volume 4: Zero Year - Secret City by Marguerite Bennett, Scott Snyder, James Tynion IV

5.0

Wild, badass, almost post-apocalyptic Batman origin story that's more vibrant and adventurous than others I've experienced. Capullo's artwork as always is astounding and Snyder's writing, though occasionally maybe a bit over-verbose this time around, is fantastic. Any small gripes I had with the pacing are rectified by the addition of the last two comics - Snippets of Bruce Wayne's international studies as a young adult. Super cool. Definitely to-be-reread someday.
