All My Lies Are True by Dorothy Koomson
4.0
And here I thought that after The Ice Cream Girls, that was the end of things. Boy was I wrong.
Here they are, almost a decade later from the previous book. And isht is about to go down. I was, yet again, on the edge of my seat. I needed to know all the things. I needed the truths from the previous book to come to light for everyone. I needed these characters, all of them, to have some happy in their lives.
Like the previous book, the characters are everything. I feel so connected to them. I felt everything they were going through: their anguish, their triumphs, their sadness, their happiness. It was all there and more.
The who and the why just might shock you. The author did a great job at making me second guess myself for a minute during this book. I am not sure if this is the end of the story for these characters. Maybe it is. Maybe it's not. Part of me just wants everything to end with this book. But the part of me that is so invested in the characters thinks she wants more.
