hello, yes, I am officially in love with this world !!
Dabos’ imagination is magnificent, there’s no other way to describe it. I loved how the story unfolded in this book, and was genuinely surprised by some of the plot twists.
I picked these books up not really knowing what to expect and have come to like the universe and characters so much already. ophelia is a witty and clever bumpkin, it’s a joy to follow the story through her pov; and while thorn is (unnecessary) aloof and straight up rude lots of times, there’s also a soft side to him and ! they are cute 🙃
picking up volume three asap!
