Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves: The Druid's Call by E.K. Johnston

3.0

I enjoyed it. I thought the pacing was good and the prose was quite funny or emotional at times.

I'm not so hot on the world building - there's big enoug  differences between the book and the movie and the DnD rules that it feels a bit weird and sloppy.

Nor do I love Doric as a character. Her character growth in the book is ok but it feels a bit cheap, especially since it seems so similar to her arc in the film. And I personally found her angst a bit repetitive and annoying, although the bits about her early childhood were quite well done and compelling.

I liked the quiet inclusion of a variety of races and gender expressions.
