Salem's Lot by Stephen King

3.0

Waded though King's word vomit...and jahobbies...
This book could have been 300 pages less without losing any of the story. I feel that some of the "backstories" and rabbit trails and "extra information" King included bogged me down a bit. They didn't necessary add much to the main storyline. It felt like he was trying to meet a word quota in some of the chapters.
All that said, I did like this story.
It isn't a read-more-than-once book for me, but I don't feel that my time was wasted reading it.
