Meticulous and engaging. The beginning reminded me a bit of All's Well (lonely, obsessive woman experiences hallucinations as she deteriorates mentally) but then transformed into more of a thriller/murder mystery. Katrina, the book's endearing protagonist, was surprisingly capable, refreshing in a genre fraught with helpless heroines and dramatic irony. Overall I would recommend—the audiobook in particular was very well done.
