Say to them, “Evelyn Hugo just wants to go home. It's time for her to go to her daughter, and her lover, and her best friend, and her mother.” Tell them Evelyn Hugo says good-bye.
This book was very unique and that's exactly why I loved it. Evelyn was a strong and independent protagonist who took everything to succeed and even lost everyone to win. Part of me deeply despises her, but another part of me feels terribly sorry for her. The plot was fast and the time jumps didn't bother me either. This book definetly deserves the hype.
UPDATE: It was amazing on the second read too! And it pulled me out of an infinitely long reading slump, I'll be forever grateful for that.
