this took me 2 years to read, which is mostly my fault for getting into a hundred other things in the time between. this is an amazing star wars story, and a great start to the high republic. if my back catalog of books wasn't so high thanks to how long i took reading this, i'd read the rest of the trilogy right away, but whatever. marchion ro is by far and away my favorite character, he's up there with the goat star wars villains for me, just a cool ass guy and an awesome concept for a villain faction overall w the nihil. avar kriss is a close second, i'd love to see her do more. if i finished this in a timely manner i'd prob have more to say, sorry.
