My Mum encouraged me to read this after going through my first breakup, and it definitely hit a lot of the right notes, but while the stories told very unique experiences of grief, they were all from the perspective of people who'd been rejected, not the rejecter, which was what I'd wanted to read about. There's a specific pain that comes with making that call, and I guess I just didn't want to be reminded of how much it can hurt to be on the receiving end of that.
Graphic: Mental illness and Grief
Moderate: Body shaming, Death, Panic attacks/disorders, Suicide, Toxic relationship, Violence, Vomit, Car accident, Alcohol, and Injury/Injury detail
Minor: Addiction and Miscarriage
