I am a big fan of Kingfisher and this series is no exception. I really enjoy the characters (especially the three that carry over from the first book). That being said, I also really like Bors and hope he can make an appearance in the next book, as Miss Potter did in this one. I like the humor that is infused into the writing and always find it very accessible. It’s fun to see our sworn soldier get into (yet another) mystical sort of situation and also to see how they get out of it. An very easy and accessible fun little read that you can do easily in an afternoon.
