This is such a good cozy fantasy book!
It's got all the autumn/winter vibes, quirky familiars, dragons, and small town Scottish charm. And it's a relatively quick read, so perfect to curl up with for a few hours and lose yourself.
The only problems I had with this was how quickly Knox (our MMC) went from hate to love and how no searching went into trying to solve the mystery of Vaila's bloodline. The story could be expanded to include these and be absolutely perfect (at least show the sisters doing SOME research into the curse).
One of my top reads this year and something I would definitely recommend.
Thank you Netgalley for this ARC.
