Lores part of the story was interesting, it kept me invested . I enjoyed how the author pieced together how Lore was able to live two lives. The author did a good job picking a time period where Lore's reasoning made sense.

The story around the murder wasn't as interesting. At the very beginning I had a suspicion on who the real murder would be then with the way the author set up the characters it was obvious who the murderer was going to be

Cassie & Dukes story was a bore & unnecessary. There was no point in Duke's character or their relationship. The book could have done without it and been shortened to a more manageable length. As far as Cassie's story with her mom, dad and Andrew it could have been better she just kept going over and over the same one instance and it was like "ok we get it! Is that all?". I feel like more/different instances of the abuses that occurred would have added to Cassie's story
