This was a reread but I haven’t read The Poppy War since it came out (and I never read the others) so it felt like I was reading it for the first time. I was really impressed with this book. The plot is compelling, the characters are fantastic, and the world building is spot on. There are some really dark parts so please read the content warnings.
I did this as a reread with a close friend and it was so much fun, can’t wait to move on to The Dragon Republic.
