this book is very different to any of colleen hoovers books, at least the ones that i've read. throughout this book my heart just ached for quinn and graham, rather than in it ends with us, ugly love and november nine where there was a distinct moment where my heart dropped and was like an oh no moment.
i mean there was this moment definitely when graham cheated with andrea my heart did break, however i mean that all throughout the book my heart just hurt for the characters

i actually really loved this book, i read it in a day, and it really was a book that managed to make me remember very clearly how much i have missed just being indulged in a book (due to being busy with exam season and not reading in a month or so really amplified that.)
i loved the dual pov with the then and now, i really think that makes you want to read the book quicker as you see two different perspectives and the juxtaposition of their relationship dynamics over the years and how an issue such as - potential spoiler although it does get revealed quickly?
infertility can really break a relationship

i went into this book with no knowledge of what it contained, and i'm glad i did. i will say i doubt a coho book will ever be one of my all time favourites but i will say in the moment colleen really knows how to structure a story that will keep you hooked and just let you get lost for a few hours!
