The Fires of Heaven by Robert Jordan
3.0

More so than the other books, this one feels like a lot of stuff waiting to happen. People are maneuvering for position, and a bunch of stuff does happen right near the end, but this book really feels like just set up for the next book. I continue to be amused by Nynaeve, and kind of annoyed by the entirety of gender relations. Jordan does not seem to have the greatest opinion of women, although the men do not always come off as paragons of virtue either. Still, I am enjoying the story.
