I liked this one better than the first one. The issues in Of Poseidon have been resolved except for a few lines which didn't seem natural to me. Loved the opening scenes and became a huge fan of Nalia from the get go. Mermaid or not, nothing hurts her baby cub (or should I say fingerling). Since the world was already built in the first book, this one seemed to be about action. I loved the tribunal scenes and cheered at the point where a confident and rational Grom takes the stage. I am not sure where she will be headed in the third book since most everything was wrapped up nice and tidy, but I look forward to more.
