Guest: A Changeling Tale by Mary Downing Hahn

3.0

Final review: 3.5

This was the first Mary Downing Hahn book I have ever read. The story, plot and atmosphere where well written. I really like the portrayal of the fae in this book and the various elements from fae lore. The only thing I didn't not like was the main character Mollie, 100% of everything bad happens because she refuses to listen to others. She repeatedly ignored any lesson she has previously learned. Madog and Guest where my favorites and the rest of the characters where ok.

Junior fiction can be hit or miss for me, but I would recommend this if you like stories surrounding fae.
