Super fun to read, a fantastic end to a beautiful series and loved the tiny NZ cameo! I loved Mackenna and Duncan to the moon and back, they are my favourite couple, I wish the book had more of them.
Couple reservations though, which makes my rating actually 4.6 stars.
- A couple times the POV was a little confusing like Jamie was narrating but it felt like Duncan etc.
- Mackenna and Duncan's relationship outshone Jamie and Veronica's, which was probably not the point, as they were much more dimensional, and my heart wrenched for them when they fought or missed each other. Also, Duncan what was up with that funk?
-Veronica felt a little carbon copy, as did Jamie, which is probably why I loved Mackenna and Duncan so much more.
Some super cheesy moments and also hilarious bromance that made me cackle and cringe, but all part of the journey, right? And a journey I was happy to take, with Doon.
