Teen Titans, Volume 1: Damian Knows Best by Benjamin Percy

4.0

This was actually a very pleasant surprise! I went into it with no expectations, as I've never read any Teen Titans comic books before (even though I have watched a bit of the animated show), so getting to know the characters was a very exciting experience. I enjoyed the overall storyline and the artwork, I thought the characterization was good and the action sequences were absolutely marvellous!

Damian clearly overshadowed the other characters, with the story focusing more on him and his character growth, but it never bothered me; he is a complex, multi-layered character, one I enjoyed reading about. Also, the rival team??? I was actually hoping to see more of them, as they seemed super interesting and such a fun addition to the team.
