HEED the trigger warnings on this one because it is DARK. *Almost on the borderline of being considered pitch black in my opinion*.
This is my second book by Ella and probably my favorite of the two. She writes true dark romances with the best SPICE ever. "Take Me" was a relatively quick read that left me wanting more!
Julie and Nikolai's chemistry was a 10/10. The dom/sub aspect of the storyline was written perfectly and showed a great dynamic between the 2. Nikolai showed the right amount of dominance that was PERFECT for their dom/sub relationship. He didn't overdue it, but man, the things he said SWOON. The sharing was *chef's kiss*. While this book isn't for everyone and won't give you all the happy cozy vibes, it was a book that left me wanting the rest of the series and have a new understanding to "take me" and giving in to your deepest desires. I can not wait for book 2 to come out!
