Berlioz the Bear by Jan Brett

3.0

The star of this story is by far the illustrations. The plot itself shows bears that are either pampered or stupid as the obvious answer when their wagon gets stuck in a pothole and the mule won't move is to get out and push themselves. (Really, do they think a rooster is going to be able to pull them all??) A child who loves to pour over the pictures would enjoy this one, but I don't think it's suitable for story time.
