The Blonde Identity by Ally Carter

4.0

I went into this book with some high expectations. Ally Carter and the Gallagher Girls series were one of the biggest reasons that I fell in love with reading. The first thing I want to say and remind everyone of is that Ally Carters voice and writing style is different then what you get these days in books. It took me a minute to get back into her style.

This book is full of good humor, twist and turns, and a good story that left me interested in the next book. I found myself laughing at some points but also dragging through at some points. I think this book is great but it did not feel like it was targeted towards me. I was hoping for a book that showed Ally grew up with her fan base and was able to still write to the same people as we have matured and it kind of fell flat for me.

However I say this and can honestly say I still loved the book. It was a feel good book that kept me interested. Heck I read it in one day. (No Shame). Oh and I caught that small hint of a spy school which left me internally screaming with happiness!
