The Tale of Adelaide and Shadow: A Farfadelian Adventure by Twolovebirds
Did not finish book. Stopped at 49%.
This was an E-ARC I received in exchange for a review. I had high hopes going into this. The main prince is trans and is set in a secondary magical world. It was very whimsical and reminded me a bit of Terry Pratchett. It was a romp; however, it read a bit young for me, and would probably be better suited to a middle grade audience. It just felt slow and a little too silly for my taste.
The other big draw back for me was that it was hard to keep track of where I was in the story since it was in PDF format. I think this would be great for someone looking for a fun and silly romp full of ridiculous plots, love triangles, magic, and lots of farting frogs.
