Very sweet. Pace kind of falls of after oz leaves, and in general I thought it was perfect until they go to oz for the first time. Couldn’t remember much of the film beside the key moments so I’m not sure if the film was as explicit about the lion being brave, tin man having a heart, and the scarecrow having a brain as the book but that was my favourite part. Same with oz being a magician - all the characters have what they want to be but lack the awareness and confidence, great moral (but I didn’t pick it up when I watched the film as a kid!).
