We Have Always Been Here by Samra Habib

reflective slow-paced
While I liked the fact that this was a story from someone whose experience was so different from my own, the whole story lacked personality or feeling or something.

It felt like the author was keeping the reader at arms length, almost like reading a news bulletin about things that have happened in the author’s life we no introspective element to it which left the whole reading experience feeling cold.
