White Rose, Black Forest by Eoin Dempsey

3.5 stars. This was a good story but it definitely moved verrryyy slowly. I felt like it either needed to be a shorter book or needed some additional plot lines. The writing was good, not great. The characters were very serious until, at random parts, they would crack some unexpected jokes. The part I think I found most interesting was that I guess I just assumed that the Germans that supported Hitler all hated the Allies and the Germans that were anti-Hitler loved the Allies. The interesting part was that the main character was very anti-Hitler, but, due to the destruction she felt personally from the Allied bombing raids, she wasn't entirely pro-Allies either. Just a different point of view that I'd seemingly never considered.
