Fifth Avenue Glamour Girl
by Renée Rosen
Just what I needed after a pretty dense mystery. This is a light, but well-written account of Estee Lauder's rise told through the lens of one of her closest friends. It's about feminism, deception and reinvention as two ambitious women struggle to rise in New York high society. It was interesting and fun.
