My favorite stand alone novel of all time. I strongly relate to the main character and feel affection towards her and a lot of the other characters. Circle of Friends is just a comfort read for me--I know what's going to happen but I love reading it anyway. I recommend it to everyone. Also DO NOT watch the movie--it doesn't even compare.
