The Edible Woman by Margaret Atwood
5.0
I don't know how to describe this book, other than that it has a strong female character, and it's very poetic. It's not an easy read. It's a book that sticks in your head. This is a fantastic book to read. I read this sandwiched between Frankenstein and crime and punishment, and I fell more in love with this book than either of those classics. Atwood creates these fantastic stories, characters with contradictory personalities and thoughts(very realistic, as many people contradict themselves), and it's just a fresh of breath air, despite being a period piece.
