Okay, so here's the negative points first:
Sometimes a bit over the top (the miscommunication was extreme, some things seemed unrealistic,
like Ayeshas 16 year old brother just casually hacking a website
), and I would have liked to hear more about Farzana's reasons to behave the way she did in the book (she was kind of a flat character/villain).
But there was also a lot of positive stuff:
The writing is nice and you can get through it very fast because of that,
the story has a lot of twists and turns,
and most importantly: there are a lot of very loveable characters and there is character development. I especially loved Ayeshas grandparents, Nana (his obsession with Shakespeare quotes was very entertaining) and Nani, and her best friend Clara. But also: Khalid is just such a gem? And Ayesha too? (After reading some other romance novels, I know know that that is very much not a given in this genre)
So yeah, I was mainly there for all of the characters, the main ones but also the families and sidekicks.
