Pestilence by Laura Thalassa

dark tense slow-paced
  • Plot- or character-driven? Character
  • Diverse cast of characters? No

3.0

This book is the very definition of Stockholm’s syndrome but with an immortal creature of the apocalypse. There were also details mentioned that contradicted each other. For example, Pestilence states he is older than time and human memory, has walked among men and lain with every kind there has ever been and found them all damnable and unworthy. But then admits to Sara that he’s never been with a human? Small thing but bothered me lol
