Fans (Twihards) of Twilight's "love at first encounter" aspect, and Edward's love and appreciation for the imperfect Bella Swan, will adore the romance in this vampire book. The "vampire failure," Sadie, doesn't fit in with her own kind. She's easy to feel bad for and yet root for, which is what great characters are all about. As the book neared the end, I found myself wondering how SO MUCH could still need to be wrapped up... there's a second book. I'm dying to know what Molly meant by, "I've known you since we were tiny wee ones waiting for our families to *" (I'm not going to finish that quote, as I can't tell if that's a spoiler or not). This book was fun to read.
