Almost Love by Louise O'Neill
5.0
The longer is sit on this book, the more my feelings grow.
Throughout the whole book, we watch Sarah set out on a path of self destruction where she pushes everyone away that cares about her.
The catalyst being a much older man, named Matthew.
I felt for her father, boss, friends and boyfriend.
When I think about it, there isn’t one moment in which I liked her. Yet, I found myself rooting for her in the end.
O’Neill was able to humanize Sarah in a way I thought was brilliant. She’s deeply flawed and made horrible mistakes, but she isn’t irredeemable.
