The Great Typo Hunt: Two Friends Changing the World, One Correction at a Time
by Benjamin D. Herson, Jeff Deck
young man piles into a car for a roadtrip to correct typos? who wouldn't want to read about such an adventure?
i found the concept appealing, but i would have preferred reading a magazine feature about the experience instead of an entire book. many of the takeaways felt interesting and i was certainly shocked about the national parks fiasco...how far they decided to take it.
otherwise, some of the stories were drawn out and jeff deck takes foreshadowing a little too seriously in the text. my other pet peeve was reading the precursors to each chapter. i found them so useless, particularly the capitalized concepts, and stopped reading them altogether.
