New York PI Marlow Black is back for a second mystery, only this time his search is not on behalf of a client, but fuelled by his own grief, the loss of of his fiancé. What first looks like suicide soon develops into a murder investigation, and Marlow will not stop until the killer is found and justice is served.
Death Leaves a Shadow well thought out concept with a great storyline to go with it. The characters are engaging and very likeable. While dark and tense at times, the book is also quite fast-paced and it got me hooked and immersed into the storyline very early on. Definitely worth the read for fans of the Noir and PI fiction genres.
