If you like Saltburn, do not read The Secret History.
Do not trust the hype of Secret History.
A nearly 500-page novel with insuferable characters, not much plot, and the "evil" twists are very tame and subpar.
About 200 pages needed to be cut out, and it would have been an entertaining read.
