I was initially intrigued by this book, as it is going to be adapted into a Netflix show. I like to be ahead of the game in reading the books before seeing the adaptation.
I had never read a book by Mary Kubica before but had heard good reviews from previous books she had written and approached this book with fairly high expectations.
After reading this book, I am so eager to see how they are going to make this story come to life on screen.
As for the book, I really enjoyed the premise. The plotline was not extremely predictable. It contained just enough intrigue to keep me engaged throughout until the major plot twist at the end.
I gave this book a 4/5 rating because of the way it ended. It was such a good mystery/thriller.
