Did not finish book.
I got about halfway through, didn't read the book for over a week, and realized I didn't care to finish it.
I love the idea of homesteading and want to have a home with a backyard garden/chickens one day, and so I thought the idea of this book was great. But you know the saying "don't meet your heroes"? I wouldn't say I think of Hilarie Burton or Jeffrey Dean Morgan as heroes, but yes I have crushed on JDM through his various acting roles... and reading how he was just another guy was DEPRESSO. Nothing "bad" he's just kind of self absorbed and insensitive. And she seemed totally unaware?? IDK.
The cuts not worth the cheese or however the saying goes. DNF.
