A Storm of Swords: Blood and Gold
by George R.R. Martin
Gah.....Totally in love with this series, struggling to understand why it took me so long to start reading it!
I flew through this second part of A Storm of Swords. I really didn't want to put it down - even reading through things like the red wedding!
I do think this book was the game changer, how many characters that were killed off - not only minor ones but huge characters that I could have seen surviving until the end.
I absolutely love this series, its fast moving, full of action. I can't wait to see what happens to the characters next - Bran is still travelling far and wide, Arya is going over the sea to Braavos, Sansa seems to be in a darker place than Kings Landing, Daenarys is becoming a conqueror, Jaime seems a different character, one that is becoming honorable and Davos continues his counsel with King Stannis despite his apparent hatred of Melisandre.
Eeeek Can't wait for a Feast for Crows.
