I love a man who yearns, and this historical romance delivered! There were so many silly situations in this book that pushed our main couple together, and I absolutely ate it up. Daisy and Matthew were great foils for each other, and their different approaches to a possible romance felt very natural, even as feelings developed. The banter was so fun, the setting of a beautiful manor on the English countryside was great, and it was lovely to see some of the characters from previous books in the series all back together again. Plus, the eventual reveal of the hero’s big secret was wild and had me flipping pages to make sure everything turned out. Another delightful read from Ms. Kleypas!
